A proud young female.

This young dragon was found living on insects and lizards 20 meters up a sago tree. It was there to escape being eaten by its parents.

Our guide told us it was about ten days old and would take up to eight years to mature.

We saw these three on Rinca Island.

A cantankerous old male on Komodo Island.

This young adult male was on the move. They can travel up to 20 k per hour.

We did see him use it on a young female who's behaviour he did not like. Their bite is deadly poisonous and the guides keep a 3 meter space          between the tourists and the dragons.
